  • Jama Masjid
The Jama Masjid in Meerut was constructed by Hassan Mahdi, the Wazir of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi, in 1019. It is considered to be the first mosque in North India which was restored by the Mughal Emperor Humayun. 
  • Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is an ancient monument constructed by the British in 1914. It is constructed at the site of the old Shambhu Darwaza. The clock tower is around 400 m away from the Begum Bridge and is known as the Zero Mile Point.
  • St. John's Church
St. John's Church was founded in 1819 by Chaplin Reverend Henry Fisher, for the East India Company in the cantonment area. The construction of the church was completed in 1822. It is regarded as one of the oldest churches in North India.
  • Gandhi Bagh
Gandhi Bagh, also known as the Company Garden, is situated on the Mall Road. The garden is famous for the musical fountain show, organised every evening.
  • Suraj Kund
Suraj Kund was constructed by a businessman, Lawar Jahawar Lal, in 1714. Initially, the pond was filled with the water of Abu Nala and later, it was filled with the water of Ganga Canal. Suraj Kund is surrounded by many ancient temples, including the famous Baba Manohar Nath Temple.
  • Parikshitgarh
Parikshitgarh, also called as the Qila Parikshitgarh, is named after King Parikshit of Hastinapur. It is believed that the fort was constructed by King Parikshit, grandson of Arjuna, one of the Pandavas. In 1916, several silver coins dating back to the time of Shah Alam II were found.
  • Kailash Parvat
Kailash Parvat is a 131 ft high temple near Meerut, having 3 stages with 72 temples. Each stage has 24 temples that represent the Jain Tirthankaras. The temple has carved ceilings, pillars, doorways and panels.
  • Kali Patan
The Kali Paltan Mandir at Meerut is also known as the Baba Augarnath Mandir. The temple has great significance as the first war of Indian independence, the Revolt of 1857, started here. It is believed that there is a self-manifested Shivalingam in the temple.
  • Shahi Eid Gah
Shahi Eid Gah was constructed by Nasir ud din Mahmud, the son of Iltutmish. It is a 600 year old mosque that can accommodate more than 1 lakh people. The Nakkashi on the walls of the mosque reflects the architectural style of the Delhi Sultanate period.
